The ‘CDC’ – Serving the needs of

British coach drivers for over 28 years

Following a career at the very heart of the coaching industry, in 1982 Phil Buston recognised that there was no real ‘voice’ for Britain’s coach drivers and set about establishing the Coach Drivers Club.
28 years on, Phil is still involved with the club and is as enthusiastic as ever as its President. He writes a regular column in the club magazine - CDC News and meets hundreds of members each year at trade exhibitions and dinners.
Many people in the trade say that the halcyon days of coaching are long gone and the maze of legislation, poor pay and changes in working practices have made the lot of the coach driver ‘not a very happy one’.

This is why the Coach Drivers Club is as relevant today as it was back in the last century! The club offers its members a way of communicating with each other and a ‘voice’ that others in the business get to hear.
Around 3,000 members enjoy being kept up-to-date through the pages of CDC News, through our website forum and on the telephone and email with the CDC team. The club continues to offer free legal advice, discounted insurance and regular ‘must know’ information through its Coach Drivers Handbook.
Membership starts at just £19.99 and if you want more details about the benefits on offer, simply click the ‘About’ arrow at the top of this page.
